The day's sinkings include: —Kingblenndyn (British), 4387 tons; Moeraki (British), 4421 tons; EricMindoo (Norwegian), 1087 tons; Demitriosingves3i»e (Greek), 2088 tons; Bessi (Norwegian), 140?. tons. Five of the crew of the Nagatanmru were killed, and five wounded by gunfire. The Moeraki's crew is reported to be safe. (The Union Steamship Copmany's Moeraki is of Exactly the same tonnage as that given for the Moeraki in the foregoing list. The New Zealand vessel is, however, according to time-table, now at Sydney, so it is hardly possible it is the vessel sunk.) SUBMARINE ATTACKS PORTUGUESE PORT. Received Dec. 7, 1 a.m. New York, Dec. 6. A private cable states that a submarire attacked the Portuguese port of Funchal, Madeira, and shelled the cable office, the damage being estimated at several thousand pounds to business premises. There were no casualties. NORWAY'S LOSSES. Received Dec. .0, 10 p.m. Christiania, Dec. 6. Two hundred and forty-twn Norwegian ships have been sunk during the war. Ninety-three have been sunk during the last sis months.
