RIFLE SHOOTING.
DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB DEFEAT HIGH SCHOOL.
A shooting match was fired at the Rewa Rewa range on Saturday afternoon between teams representing the New Plymouth Defence Rifle Club' and the New Plymouth High School. The condition? were eight men a-side, seven shots at each of the 200, 500, and 000 yards ranges. The match resulted in a somewhat easy win for the Defence Club. There was some lino shooting. IT, Lucena was top scorer of the day with 90, President F. J. Hill and Rifleman W. R Keating each scored 415. the latter getting a possible at 200 yards. Detailed
