SEASONABLE WEATHEH. Seasonable weather was experienced in New Plymouth during the month of November. On November 8 and 27 rain fell, melting the snow, on Mount Egmont and causing floods. The tempera' ture was uniform. There was thunder on November IS, 23 and 27, and hail fell lightly on November 8. Fresh south west winds were recorded on November 8, 10 and 20, and a magnificent dijplaj of sdto-cufnulus clouds followed by a fine sunset was witnessed on November 20.

Solar radiator (sun's heat), 155deg. on four days, 125deg. on 15th. Terrestrial radiator (3 inches from grass), 55deg. on 13th, 44deg. on 29th. Cloudiness ranged from 1 ou 19th to 10 on six (sunless) days. Sunshine recorded, 13 hours, 2flmin. on 30th, lamin. on 15th. Total 197 hours, 29min. There were six sunless days. Rain fell on eighteen days, l.OClins on 27th, .002 ins on 10th. total 7.035i:i5. (100 points to inch). The wind blew from the north on four days, north-west three, west one, southwest 14, south seven. One calm day.
