His cold is not improving, and the doctors advised him. to abandon.his proposed attendance at thq funeral. The official reception was cancelled, and the Kaiser devoted the day tt> prayer at Franz JosepVs 'oicr, on which lie laid a wreath.' London, Nov. 29. It is not believed in Vienna that the Kaiser is suf.ering from a cold. It is opinou that the real reason for his hurried departure was that he was afraid cf an attempt at hk assassination. It is reported that only five people were allowed to see the Kaiser in Vienna.
