CONCrX'DIXG SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the Presbyterian Assembly, the Ucv. R. E. Davis presented a report 011 the Sustentation Fund, whMi proposed certain new regulations, the , aim of which is to apply the principle of augmentation of stipend to the whole Church. These! were sent down to presbyteries, sessions, deacon court-:, and boards of managers.

The report on the Bible-in-scliools showed nothing had been done, aa it was felt advisable to cease action during tho period of the war. , At the evening meeting the report 011 church property was presented by Mr. James. MeKerrow. Seven properties were sold, realising ;£311>5, and seven congregations borrowed £437(1. There was received in repayments fllfla, and there has been invested £"20,744. Various gifts of elmrch sites, also legacies, had been received.

The report of the Finance" Committee stated that the Assembly Expenses Vmul is in a satisfactory condition. The total expenditure was £*2725. Assessments on congregations remain as nt present. The overture 011 finance submitted to the Assembly of 101<i was referred to the Presbytery of ChristI'hurch. 1

A report of the Xvw Century Fund was presented by the Hon. .1. G. W. Aitkeii. it was stated that six loans, totalling £BO3, were made, and two grr.nts for sites made of each. The Rev. J. A. Mackenzie gave in a repcrt on the Book of Order, and tho matter was deferred to next year. The thanks of the Assembly were given to the Moderator for his opening address, and very appreciative 'remarks were made as to the way in which the Moderator had presided over the court. The Assembly resolved to 'meet next year in Dunedin.'
