His stock have won fame in the South, whether on the race-track, in the show-ring, or on farm work. Advance only raced until 222' 2 years o'.d, and gained a record for the National Cup (Christchurch), two miles, in Imin. 46sec., which is evidence of his great pace, beating, amongst others, Albertorious and Black Child.
