JANUARY QUOTA SHORT. Up till Saturday, 51 recruits had been attested for tilt January quota, and approximately another 50 are required. Voluntary ■enlistment for this draft will cea.se on* Oeccmber 9, and if there are any shortages on that date a ballot will be taken in the following week to complete the quota. Men who do not wish to run the risk of being caught in the ballot should volunteer immediately for I the January draft. 1
