DISTRICT NEWS
URENUI. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The sixth meeting of the W.C.T.U. was held at Mrs. Wilton's residence, Urelmi, the president being in the chair. It was decided that the first entertainment by the L.T.L. children should be held in the Urenni Hall 011 Friday, Ist December, also that the next W.C.T.U. meeting be held on the second Wednesday in December, at Mrs. G. Gaustad's rcsidente, Moerangi Road. It was reported that there were 40 members on the L-T-Ta roll. After the meeting closed tea and cakes were provided by Sirs. "Wilton. The last meeting for 1010 in connection with the L.T.L. was held at Mrs. Kowe'- residence on November IS. the chair being taken by Miss Ella Shing. The meeting opened with a chorus song, "Same Glad Day." The usual exercises v, en- taught". Recitations were rendered bv Misses K. Gilliver, E. Shing, Zaidee So wry, and Zelma Sowry; pianoforte solos by Misses J. Smith and Sowry; vocal solos by Misses J. Smith, E. Glentworth, K. Gilliver, and E. Waite. "God, Save the King" .brought a happy
