HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. . The High Commissioner's market report, dated London, November IS (th.' quotations, unless otherwise specified being average market prices on spot) is as follows: Meat.—There is no material change in the market during the present week. Lamb continues in poor demand owing to large supply of Scotch lambs. It is quoted at lOd and Is per pound; New Zealand mutton is in small supply, and is in fair demand at 8i;d; ewe mutton, f*4. Argentine mutton, heavy-weight Rid, light-weight 83d: New Zealand lamb, (Ud; Argentine lamb, 83d. No New Zealand beef is offering. Argentine chilled beef, hinds Sid. fores 7Jd. The butter market continues firm, anil prices are now higher. Owing to continued small supplies of Danish, prices arc firmer. Irish creamery, salted 20 to 20lis, unsalted 208s to 210s; New Zealand, first arrivals this season, salted 204s to 200s (word mutilated), unsalted 20fis to 20Ss, No quotations are given for New Zealand butter, aL there are no arrivals. Argentine, unsalted. 200s to 20Ss; American creamery, salted 100s to l!<2s. The cheese market closed firm at ar. advance. Canadian white 120s to 1245, colored 120s to 1245; English Cheddar is in fair demand at current prices, white USs. The New Zealand market is practically cleared. The wool market looks very strong, and there are'a number of buyers at present prices.
