ELTHAM NOTES.
To the Editor. Sir,— Your Eltham correspondent in his report to your paper of tho meeting of the KltUam Tennis Club ha? been glaringly inaccurate. Our membership is now about 2.5, but was liO, and of this latter number ],S have donned khaki. It would appear from vour correspondent's notes that 18 out of 25 had enlisted, but of our previous number of 0() more than half were lady membqis, so the proportion of men from the club who have done their bit is still remarkably high. It was a painful error on your corespondent's part to say that R. Jackson has been killed, whereas the name should have read W. Falconer. The former is at present in Eltham on leave from camp. Our ''local champion'' and president enjoys the name of H. F. 'Haden, and not "R .Hadyn." The "H," I might mention for your correspondent'* future felicitous use, stands for "Ifn.ry."—l am, Eltham, November 21.
