NEW ZEALAND'S PREMIER.
A BRITISH TRIBUTE. \ Ey Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Private advices have been received that the following appeared in the Yorkshire Herald of November 10: "Those whose privilege and pleasure it was to meet Mr. Massey yesterday were conscious of influence and idealism of mind and personality, at once vigorous and practical and far-seeing, and they long will retain the impression of a man of wide outlook, warm sympathy and splendid statesmanship—one of those first-class leaders of Imperial thought and polities who are playing so prominent a role to-day in waging war on the liun, and who are destined to take even a fuller share in the settlement of after-the-war problems."
