THE EMPIRE.
LAST NIGHT OF "THE BUGLE CALL." The chief attraction at the Empire hot evening was a picture that has beoi very highly praised for its novelty and strength of plot, for its realistic battle scenes and daring riding, and for the discovery of a new "star" actor in Willie Coiker, jurn., the son of the well-known American actor. "The Bugle Call," a five-reel Thomas H. Ince production, from the studios of the Triangle ICayBee Company, is a stirring, and at times thrilling mi/litary story of barrack square and active service, pathetic and humorous in turn, in which the young actor scores a big success. There is a strong "heart interest," and the picture evidently makes a big appeal to the emotions. The supplementary pictures include the destruction of a German Fokker aeroplane, after an exciting chase by the French air fleet. The latest Pathe Gazette and a humorous comedy featuring' the popular comedian Frank Daniels. To-night will be the last screening of this excellent selection.
