EGMONT AGRICULTURAL SHOW.

The cattle sections will be very strong at the Egmont A. and P. Association's show to be held in Hawera this week. In fat stock Egmont will make a fine showing, and Messrs. T. A. Dur.ian (Huntwville) and Hugh Middleton (Waverlcy), who were exhibitors at Wanganui, will also bo showing at Ilawera. In tihe Jlolstein-Fricsians, Mr. W. I. [Lovelock (Palmerston North), Mr. A. J. Gallichan (Palmerston North), ami Mr. Wm. Jamei (Xew Plymouth) will | have stock there, and South Tarnnaki | breeders will also be fairly; well represented. , | Ayr&hires will produce a great show, In addition to local breeders, the Porirua Mental Hospital, D. Buchanan (Taikitahuna), Ohlson 'Bros. (Inglewood), •!. Kyle (Palme.rston North), and Hall (Lepperton) will also have stock competing. The Jersey classes, as usual, are very strongly represented throughout, and winners will secure honors to be proud of. Some of the best Jcsey stock in New Zealand will be exhibited at the Hawera Show in both males females. The milch cows' competition 'las brought out very strong eon.pitition, and right through the entries in the cuttle section are most gratifying, and will provide one of the finest shovj ever seen on this coast.
