ENEMY ATTACK REPULSED HEAVY SNOW HINDERS OPERATIONS. An Italian communique states: There have ibeen bombardments of the line at advanced points on the Carso. A strong enemy attack was repulsed eastwards of f Bertojbazza. Heavy snowfalls are hindering operations elsewhere. ENEMY ATTACKS RBFIUUSED. Wellington, November 18. The High Commissioner reports under date, London, November 17 (0.'20 p.m.): —An Italian official report says: At San Marco, eastward of Gorizia, during heavy fighting yesterday, threo determined enemy attacks under cover of darkness were made against the Two Pines House salient. They were repulsed. This morning, after intense artillery preparation, renewed attacks only succeeded in taking a trench southeastward of Two Pines. Elsewhere the enemy were driven off with heavy loss
