OVERSEAS LABOR. ' ' Renter Service. London November 17. In the House of Commons, Mr. Bonar Law, in reply to Mr. Newman, said the Government was considering the employment of overseas labor in the steel and allied industries engaged in work for the national interests. Mr. IPringle: Is the introdu?;icn of colored labor being considered? Mr. Bonar Law: The obtaining of skilled men from wherever they are available is being considered. TAKING OVER LICENSED HOUSES. London, November 17. The Manchestei Guardian says that negotiations for the Government taking over of all licensed houses in the Glasgow area have reached an advanced stage. It is understood that the basis of negotiations is six years' purchase. Licensed grocers are demanding excessive terms, which is the chief obstacle to the negotiations. PRICE OP COPPER.
