ATRIOTIC WORK.
RED CROSS MART. \ The Rod Cross Mart in Devon Strcev presented an animated scene on Saturday, when a number of volunteer workers were kept busily engaged in selling produce and flowers on behalf of the Red Cross funds'. The goods' had been donated by friends of the Society, and were disposed of at satisfactory price?. The sum of £lO was realised in this Way. The Society also received 13s as a donation made by residents of Koritft and Kent Road. j AMBULANCE FUND. Satisfactory work was done on Saturday in connection with the sale of flow ers by the Victoria League for the New Zealand Ambulance Fund. As the result of the sale £7 was taken. | Mesdanles Hugh Baily and Morrison acknowledge with thanks a contribution oi ss. from 8.H.5., Smart Road, to their fund for parcels for the boy» at the front.
