RED CROSS FUNDS.
GARDEN PARTY AT "'AQTEA. - A garden party will be held on !>#• cember 14 and 16, under the auspices of the local branch of the Red Cross Society, in "Aotea" grounds, which Messrs. Sole Brothers have lent for the purpose. The proceedr will be devoted to the Red Cross funds. Arrangements are well in hand, and there is every indication that the function will be a success. Mrs. Woods' orchestra and other musicians will be in attendance on Thursday afternoon, and will discourse selections. In the evening of both days the grounds will be illuminated and the' Citizens' Band will "provide a musical programme. Afternoon tea and supper will be available. The grounds will rot be open on Friday afternoon.
