DETERMINED ON VICTORY, SO SEPARATE PEACE. PARODY OF POLISH INDEPENDENCE London, Nov, 18. The Daily Chronicle's Petrograd correspondent states that the Duma has resinned its sittings. Speeches in both Houses emphasised the necessity of fighting to a victorious finish only. Severe criticism of the Government aimed at the removal of the causes preventing the nation developing its full jnergies to win the war. A member of the right characterised tiie advocates of a separate peace as State criminals. M Rodzian'vo expressed gratitude for the loyalty of the Allies. A deputy cried, "Long live England! ,r and the House gave an ovation to Sir (George Buchanan, the British Ambassador. Polish representatives protested at the parody of Polish independence. They were debarred from the idealoof. f a free, united Poland, which could only be secured by tin Allies. The main theme of the speeches dwelt on the, necessity of bringing the Government into closer touch with Russian public opinion. POLAND STILL PART OF RUSSIA. Petrograd, Nov. 10. Russia has piotcsted that the AustroGerman proclamation of Poland violates the International Convention signed by the Centrla Powers, therefore it is null and void. Russia reaffirms that Poland is still part of Russia. EXPLOSION OF MUNITIONS. Received Nov. 17, 10 p.m. Copenhagen, Nov. 17. An explosior. of munitions at Archangel destroyed two steamers, two barracks, and harbor buildings. One hundred and fifty persons were killed and 65 injured.
