She brings a cargo jf 500 tons of coal, ' THE RARAWA. The Rarawa arrived at the Breakwater yesterday morning with a cargo of 155 tons.
[ The name Luekenbach pcems to have an unpleasant odour in the nostrils of the waterside workers (says Saturday's Otago Daily Times). Two of these steamers are due here in the near future from New York, via northern New Zealand port 3, these being l the Edward Luekenbach and the Julia Luekenbach, both of which are under charter to the Vacuum Oil Company. The ordinary route followed by the Luekenbach Line is from New York to Wellington, and thence to Australian porta, Lut ,is t.ie two vessels mentioned are running under a different arrangement the four principal New Zealand ports ar2 included in their itirerary. In connection with their ;isit to Dunedin, it i£ stated that they vill find a difficulty in obtaining labor here to work their cargoes—not that there will he anything in the nature of a strike or any official action authorised by the union, but simply that the vessels will be left severely alone by the men as individuals.
