LONDON MARKETS, * Auatralian-N.Z, Cable Association. j London, November 11. Wheat.—The market is very quiet. A parcel of early November sold at 755. Frozen meat sare unchanged. Rabbits are in good demand, uvow Sotuh Wales blues, ex store, about '2ss. The market is expected to remain firm, as the five on the Westmeat caused great damage, 13,000 crates being condemned. Hemp.—Market steady and unchanged. Rubber.—Para, 3s B'/jd; plantation and smoked 2'< 7%d. Copra.—October-December shipments £37 15s. Quicksilver, 3335. Shares.—Union Steamship Co., £SO. London, Nov. 12. Wheat is steady, but there ere rcanty offerings. The wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom U 2,0519,000 quarters, for the Continent 2,780,000 quartern; Atlantic shipments are 519,000 quarters, Pacific nil. Ths total to Europe i 3 1,040,000 quarters; India 100,000 quarters, Argentine 78,000 quarters, Australasia 85,000 quarters. Wool.—At the sales there were so'd for Home consumption 07,000 bales, fcr export 0000 bales, and wer« hei,; over 9000 bales. The sales .cosed with tli3 highest prices of the series. There waa the keenest competition for slipe3 and scoured throughout the sales. The selection of merinos was small and disappointing, but prices hardened steadily, all closing 10 to 15 per cent, above the September prices, arid surpassed all records. Finer crossbreds were 10 per cent, above September, medium and coarse fully 15 per cent. Scoured were in unusually strong demand at 15 per cent. rise. All fine slipes were Hd to 2d higher, medium lid, low and inferior 2d; merino lambs 10 to 15 per cent.; crossbreds 2d. The Carnagh clip brought a top price of 22Jd, average 22d. Lead. —Imports 11,780 tons, exports 2338 ions. The Boaird of Trade, through Mr. Massey, purchased 15,000 carcasej of New Zealand pork. Wellington, Nov. 13. The Bank of New Zealand has raceived the following cablegram from H.i London office:—The wool sales closed with a very strong market. Compared with closing rates at last sales, merinos were fully 10 per cent., greasy crossbreds and slipes 7J to 10 per cent, greasy crossbred lambs C< per cent dearer. Current prices are: Crossbreds, coarse lOd to 193 d, medium 20d to Sid, fine 22Jd tc 23Jd; merinos, interior 18Jd to 19Jd, superior halfb'-cd, 24d to 25d. ' p!*, LONDON DAIRY PRODUCE- "
