DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE.

CORONER'S INQtiEST. An inquest into the vircunistanees surrounding the death of an elderly lady. Miss Julia Coad, who was found dead in bed on Saturday afternoon, was held at the Court House, before Mr. A. Cvooke, S.M., yesterday morning. Constable Boulton gave evidence of identification, and of finding the body. Raymond Bellringer said he last saw deceased on Friday morning, shortly after 10 o'clock. She then appeared to be in good health and spirits, and she made no complaint about being unwell. Deceased was a frequent visitor to wil'n?AVs home. Dr. D. Bliickley stated that he had made a post-mortem examination on Sunday. The body was that of an elderly woman, 00 or more years of age. Witness was of opinion that death was the result of sudden heart failure, subsequent to an attack of acute indigestion. • A verdict was returned in accord with the medical evidence.
