PATRIOTIC WORK.
NEW ZEALAND AMBULANC& A sale of flowers was held in Devoil and Brougham Streets on Saturday, under the auspices of the Women's Patriotic League. The object of the sale was to obtain funds for the purpose of contributing towards the cost of a Xew Zealand motor ambulance, tha j provision of which is being taken in, [hand by the Victoria League. A lection of very line roses and other flowers wa3 offered for sale, and wa* readily disposed of. The proceeds, which: included £1 10s received in donations, totalled £l2 2s fld. ■. „•• ■•**!
