The recent Advance was fully maintained. There was a poor selection of merinos. Prices were unchanged. The following prices were realised for the ileece portions of the New Zealand clips named: —Galatea, to 2P/.d, average 20 ] /.d; Ngaio, 22d and 19% d; Wlra-re, l.'H/J.d and 19d. At the hides sales'there whs a strong demand for the few arriving. Quotations were nominal. Australian, ll%d to 13'/ 4 d. Leather: Best 'heavy Australian, 21d to 24d.
