CEREBROSPINAL MENINGITIS. By Telegraph.—Press Associat'on. Wellington. Last Night. 'Private William Joseph O'Connor, II Company, 21st Reinforcements, died at the Featherston Military Hospital this afternoon from cerebro-spinul meningitis. UNIVERSITY BOARD OF STUDIES. Wellington, Last Night. The second animal meeting of the University Board of Studies was opened to-day. Professor Segau pressing. _ A discussion took place on the question whether the health of school girls suffered by the pressure of'studie;. Reports were received from the Dimedin Recess Committee and Second Schools Conference, the. effect being that flic principals of Girls' Secondary Schools did not admit any over, pressure that was likely to be. injurious. The Board decided to recommend the senate to'make a comprehensive investigation.
