The Hon. W. C. F. Carncrosa is a passenger by the Rerauera, due at Auckland yesterday.
Mr. A. W. Budge, of Stratford, was taken seriously ill on Friday, but a later report states there was an improvement in his condition.

Private Frank Shirley, of New Ply-, mouth, left last week for England, where he intends to work in munition factories. Private Shirley was severely] wounded at Gallipoli, and was invalided to England, returning to New Zealand foul or five months ago.
