THE TABLES TURNED. GEEMAN PRIZE CREW SURPRISED. Received Nov. 3, 9 p in. Amsterdam, Nov. 2. German torpedoers in the North Sea tured the Dutch steamer OMambt on put a prize crew aboard and =ent it to Zccbrugge. British destroyers learnt of the act, and overtook the Olaambt, and made prisoner the prize crew. The Germans put bombs in the engineroom. It is unknown whether the Oldambt wis sunk. The High Commissioner reports:—The Admiralty reports that the cn.vny captured the ntch steamer Oldambt on the night of the Ist inst., near the North Hinterlight vessel. At dawn cur scouting craft overtook the vessel, in charge of a prize crew, who attempted to blow her up. They took to boats', with the ship's crew. The prize crew of ten were overtaken and made prisoners. Five Herman destroyers were engaged and driven off. We towed the Oldambt to the Hook of Holland. Received Xov. 4, 1.45 a.m. Amsterdam, Nov. 3. The Oldamlct which was beached near the Hook of Holland has capsized and her cargo is washing out.. WORE VESSELS SUNK.London, Nov. 2. The sinking of two Norwegian and one British ship is reported. The Cologne Gazette, in an inspired telegram from Berlin, foreshadows that/if neutrals fail to resist British oppression more energetically Germany will demand from neutrals the most definite guarantees that cargoes of neutral vessels destined for neutrals .shall not be partially or wholly unloaded in' Britain. A Chriatiania telegram states that steamship shares rose sharply on reports that there were prospects of a settlement, between Germany and Norway. 7
