His parents reside at To Kiri, Taranaki Private James Carradus, of the same ■company, died this afternoon, nisi fiorn meningitis. Private Carradus was a married man, and his next-of-kin's address is Patea. Surgeon-General Henderson states that the recent changeable weather has increased the numbei of influenza eases, lint all the patients in the hospital under treatment were progressing favourably. There were no fresh cases of spinal meningitis.
