The following prices were ; realised for the fleece portions of the clips named: Waita, top price 20Jd, average 19Jd; Brancepeth, 25Jd and 2Ud; Waihopai, 45Jd and 38£ d. There were catalogued 37,707 bales, and sold liS,2£4 bales. ~ . RECORD PRICES FOR WHEAT. London, Oct. 29. Wheat.—Firm; 77s 3d is asked. Record prices are quoted in Britain, as follow: Peterborough, 745, advancing 6a in a week; Cambridge, 755; Canterbury, 705. The wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,435,00 C quarters; for the continent, 2,945,000 quarters; Alhntic shipments 491,000 quarters; Pacific nil.
