SUDDEN DEATH
han expires in st. aubyh, STREET. • ' A miodle-fceec; man, named Frederic* Pratt, foreman carpenter, who was in the employ of Mr. A. A. Renner, contractor for the new A.M.P. Building*, was* found dead in % St. Aubyn Street, just beyond tlu- steps leading from the railway statior, at 10 minutes to 7 last night. The deceased had been talking to a friend on the Esplanade, and apparently, just after leaving him, had be.n seized with a sudden heart attack, for when Mews. E. Gilmour and. S. Terd, in a motrr-car. came along, they perceived the br.'ly. Dr. Blackley was immediately summoned, and pronounced life extinct. Deceased was a married man, his howo being at Ngaio, near Wellington.! His wife is at present living at Nelson, where her parents reside, ahd of his family of six children, two sons are on active service. An inquest will be held this morning.
