Haw era is holding a, patriotic tournament on Monday, play commencing at 9.30 a.m. The official opening of the Manaia green was again postponed owing tc the weather. Patea green will be officially opened on November Ist. The Wanganui Centre is arranging a patriotic tournament to take place in Wanganui on Saturday afternoon, to be concluded on Monday—Labor Day. There was a good muster of player* on the Fitzroy green yesterday afternoon, several town players being present. The- green was playing remarkably well considering the wet weather recently.
