Rome, Oct 19. Semi-official: The capture of the redoubt on the so-called Tooth of Paaubio deprives the enemy of one of his most
important strongholds. The tooth consists of a sheer cliff, with a flat top, whereon the redoubt, bristling with ma-chine-guns, protected a series of flanking redoubts. The Alpini, on the !)th, climbed the tooth with ropes and ladders, and gained a precarious footing on the cliff edge. They remained there several days, despite the flro of the machine-guns. The Italian artillery yesterday clestruetively shelled the redoubt, and the infantry escaladed the rocks and occupied the trenches. They repelled counter-attacks and are now consolidating the tooth. AUSTRIAN COAST RAIDED. Rome, Oct. 18. A squadron of French and Italian seaplanes raided the coast of Istria, bombed warships and works at Rovigno ' and 'Puntaslvare and returned safely.
