PARK TENNIS CLUB.
ANiNUAL MEETING. The Park Lane Tennis and' Croquet Chili met last evening. Mr. R. H. Wliite presided. _Thc chairman said the club had lost £52 owing to the shrinkage of subscriptions due to enlistments. He had confidence in the future, and expected an increased membership of young players. He urged members to do their best to add to their numbers. Tile balance-sheet showed receipt.; as £.37 '2s Gd, and expenditure £lllS 15s Id, leaving a debit balance of £l3B 12s 7d. The election of oflicers resulted as follows:—President, Mi. R. H. White (reelected) ; vice-presidents, Messrs W. A. Collis, F. W. Sandford, and J. Scanlon (re-elected); secretary, Mr. F. C. Tribe (re-elected); treasurer, Mr. H. J. M. Wells (re-elected); committee, Messrs H. Ambury, S. Cottier, (!. Gray, E. Turner, and H. Broadmore; auditor, Mr. F. W. Sandford; ladies' committee, Mesdames Tribe, Hill, McGahey, Fulton, Lealand, and Misses Collis and Hodder. It was decided to officially open the club's lawns on November 4.
