The Warrimoo sailed from Port Chalmers lasrNThurs'day afternoon foi Newcastle under the command, of Giptain R. E. Smitlj, who a few years ago was one of the best-known masters in the ■service of the Union Con.pany. IP is understood (says the Otago Times) that negotiations are in progress foi the sale of the Warrimoo, but it is uncertain how far these have proceeded. It is probable, however, that the vessel, which has been a familiar visit to all New Zealand ports during the past 25 years, may not l)e seen'again in these waters—at least for pom..- time. It is suggested that.'l'rom Newcastle she will proceed to Singapore, and will there transfer her flag to an Eastern shipping company. „.
