VISIT TO TARANAKI.

The Hon. W. Fraser, Minister of Public Work?, accompanied by Miss Fraser and Mr. 1\ A. McAlisfer (private secretary) arrived in New Plymouth last night from Wellington. The Minister was met by the Mayor (Mr. C. H. Burgess) and the member for the district (Mr. H. ,T. Okey), and motored to the White Hart Hotel. At in o'clock this morning the Minister will meet representatives of Taranaki local bodies at t'he Taranaki County Chambers and discuss matters connected with votes for roads and bridges. The Minister will motor through to Wanganui to-morrow, and on Monday will meet deputations at Wanganui, afterwards motoring to Marton, where be will join the night main trunk express for Wellington, leaving subsequently for Nelson. He expects to arrive back in Wellington on Saturday,
