GERMAN PEACE MOVE. (l GERMAN PAPER'S LAMENTATION New York, Oct. 11. \ rierman peace move is seen in the demand of the New York Staats Zeitung, which is jiractically Count Uenistoi'll's organ, for America immediately to appeal to the belligerents to end the war. The Staats Zeitung bitterly complains of American peace organisations and ino dividual peace advocates who, the news:l paper says, "desire only their particular ; brand of peace. So long as Croat e liritnin wins none of them cares who [1 is beaten; so long as Germany is defeuty ed none of them cares who wins." s The newspaper calls the Americans hypocrites and cowards for this attitude, i and declares: "The time to talk peace, \i wo mean and believe in peace, is now, . otherwise we should for ever after hold our peace.'' Much significance is attributed to the aiticle, as it is believed it would not have been printed without the express approval of the German Government
