Cable Assncfatto* • New York, October 11 The Japanese Premier, Marshal T>ruuchi, in the course of an interview, said: "Japan will not take any aggressive step against the United States or any other country fo long as Japan's vital interests and dignity ar: cot infringed. Any idea that I will wave the sword is without foundation. Japan's progress as one of the world's Powers, which- is inevitable, must be marked by prudence and caution. I don't sec any likelihood of a more active participation in the war."
