Carlita led to the; dis- , tanee, when Bursar, with a great run overhauled her and won by two lengths, Time, 3.33. SYDNEY HANDICAP. One and a half miles.—Agincourt 1, Garlin 2, Fantasie 3. There were seventeen starters. Won by one and a half lengths. Time, 2.1. The weather was showery, and the going was a trifle heavy. The attend- , ance was fair, but the scratching? of practically all the New Zealand horses detracted from the interest of the racing. A Press Association message states that in consequence of the parade of the ISth Reinforcements in Auckland on Saturday, the spring meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club has been postponed to next Wednesday and the following Saturday.
