They penetrated Galicia, to a depth of 150 kilometres. The raid lasted a fortnight, covering 000 kilometres, and returned without a casualty, revealing the organisation oi the enemy's rear. GERMANY'S MAXIMUM EFFORT. Received Oct. 11, 5.5 p.m. Paris, Oct. 10. Experienced observers of the war are of opinion that the Kaiser's visit to Lemberg indicates that Germany is 1 about to znake her maximum effort.
