COMMITTEE'S RECOMMENDATIONS.

Collett and Co. be inforit ed that the Council cannot see its way 1o entertain their offer for a site for a Municipal Theatre at Carrington Road; tl.at in view of the high cost of const) notion due to tbe war. the question cf erecting the Municipal Offices and Museum Buildings be deferred unil the first meeting of the. Council ir May, 1917.
