THE UNIQUE TRAVEL PICTURE, ' SYDNEY TO LONDONy VIA "THE ALL-RED ROUTE." "The All-Red Route," a picture that depicts a holiday trip from Sydney to London, will he screened at the Empire for the first time to-nigiht, and again twice tomorrow, at a special matinee commencing at 3 p.m., and finally at the evening session. Starting at Sydney, the trip to Vancouver is taken on board the R..VI.S. Niagara, Auckland, Fiji and Honolulu being visited en route, and interesting glimpses of characteristic scenery and native customs are shown. From Vancouver the 3000-mile journey through British North America is made on the Canadian-Pacific Railway, many magnificent views of the Rocky Mountains being obtained. The great National Park at Banti', the rolling prairies, Winnipeg and Montreal are visited in turn, as well as the famous Niagara Falls, which are seen under very fine conditions. The interesting journey is advanced another stage across the Atlantic in a great liner, and a big storm is encountered; but Liverpool and London are iinaliy reached. The picture concludes with some splendid scenes of the world's metropolis. The balance of the programme consists of a bright comedy, "Count 'Em," featuring Anita Stewart and Earle Williams; the Pathe Gazette, and "The Unwritten Play," a one-act drama. PROGRAMME ARRANGEMENTS FOR THIS WEEK. Four complete changes will be screened it Hie Empire this week, commencing to-night with the unique travel picture, ''The Ail-Red Route." This programme will also be s-oreened again tomorrow at 3 p.m. and for the last time to-morrow "Veiling. On Wednesday there will be a complete change for that night only, when the powerful Vitagraph drama, 'A Woman's Share," will have pride of place. Thursday will see the introduction of another complete change, the chief film being the last adventure of "Stingaree," entitled "The Villain Worshipper." On Friday night and Saturday, at botfli matinee and night, the management will present the remnikable Paramount" *-»*' * "The Straight Road." by the immortal dramatist. Clyde Fitch. In this powerful drama, Miss Gladys Hansen, 'Sne of-Ame-rica's most talented young leading women, admirably portrays the wonderful character of Voll O'Hara, the girl of the Blums, who rises above the mire of foer squalid and iniquitous environment to make one of the most tremendous sacrifice* of which the heart of woman is capable.
