LOCATION OF NEW ZEALAND JJUVSES.
Wellington, Wednesday. The Minister for "Public Health 'has received from the Deputy-Director of Medical Services of the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces a memorandum as to the location of the nurses of the New Zealand Army Nursing Service as. at August 10, 1910. The distribution of nurses was as under:—N.Z. General Hospital No.-l, Brofcenhurst, 58; N.Z. General Hospital, No. 2, Walton-on-Thamcs, SO; N.Z. No 1 Stationary Hosjital in France, 27; Aotea Convalescent Home, lleliopolis, .'1; hospital ship Malicio, 14; hospital ship Marama, 20; lick in England, 2; returned to New Zealand on duty, 28; returned to New Zealand sick, 14; awaiting duty in England, 8; total under New Zealand command, 204. In British hospitals in Egypt, 49; British l-0.-pital ships, 52; British hospital trains in Egypt, 2; British hospitals in England, 5; total under British command, 108. In addition, 11 have died, and the location of ;!4 is unknown (possibly of the first charter of the Malieno), and some are attached to Australian hospitalo, making a grand total of 357. The total number of New Zealand nurses now available in England is eight, while the number required is 54. The staff has not yet been appointed to the N.Z.
