We submitted a comprehensive catalogue to good competition. The whole offering was disposed of at full market rates. Hides were in keen demand, cowhides selling as high as IOJd, while ox, which were in small supply, sold at lljd per lb. Calfskins: This sale practically constitutes the opening of the calf skin sales and prices indicate .strong demand this sMfon. Prices ranged from lOjd for roujrh, flayed, dirty skins to Is to Is Id for good conditioned spready sorts.
