Commencing at the Empire to-night Hie principle attraction will be a powerful Western drama in five reels, produced b> Tlios. H. lnce and the Triangle K.iy Bee Company, and entitled "The lighting Parson." The title role is in the capable hands of Wni. S. Hart, and i character somewhat on the lines of the ".Sky Pilot'' is shown endeavoring to clean up the morals of Barren Gulch, a rough mining town out West. The methods adopted by the "parson" are pomewhat different to the usual practice, for he preaches his sermons at the point of a revolver, and enforces morals under pain of immediate and vigorous punishment. But his wife's weakness and faithlessness turn the preacher's heart to cursing. How he faces life and moots his wife's betrayer and enacts vensi-ance make a stirring and powerful picture that is claimed to be the best In the Triangle features yet seen. A bripht comedy, "Levy's Seven Daughter-/' and the "Gaumont Graphic" will al.=o be shown. This strong and gripping f< at lire will also be screened at the nitinee and night performances to-mor-row.
