Present indications are for unsettled •vPiither, with much mist and fog, and considerable rain generally; moderate to strong and increasing notherly winds, harking to westerly, are probable northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and easterlies' veering to south-easterlies elsewhere. The barometer will fall further, but will rise everywhere after about 24 to ?6 hours.
