/ANOTHER "STINGAREE" ADVENTURE TO-NIGHT, - *A DUEL IN THE DESERT."

The ninth "Stingaree' adventure will bf; introduced on the change of programme at the Empire 'to-night.. The outlaws escape after a hot'pistol battle with the police, only to be captured at(ain while carelessly lolling at their i'lse by the spring. Crossing the desert "Stingam'" fakes a fall from his horse and feigns unconsciousness. While one of the police goes ofi' to the post with ir'jwie the other stands guard over Stin;raree, awaiting the return of the waggon in which to put the captive. Stingaree proves his gameness iji the long wait under the blistering sun, and later in a moment of unwarines? the tables • are lurn'ed on the officer. Later by a clever ruse Stingaree rescues Howie. The supporting programme includes a well produced Vitagraph drama, ""Hie Stockbroker." a fine series of views of '"ltalian Naval Manoeuvres" and a great laughing Keystone-Triangle comedy featuring Mabel Norniand and Fatty Arbuckle entitled, "He did and he didn't." This programme will be screened to-night only. To-mcrrow and Saturday the vigorous and exciting "The Fighting Parson," will be introduced to local picture lovers.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR '"ALL, RED iiOUTE" TOUR. MATINEE TUESDAY AT 3 P.},l. •, Arrangements have been completed to screen the unique educational picture All Red Routed" at tht Empire Theatre next Monday at 8 n.m and-again on Tuesday at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. The Minister of Education, .he Hon. .T. A. Hanan, says of this frrcat picture: "The y.'ctnre is most interesting, and. should widen the knowledge of those who set it with respect to geography, customs, and habits of the inhabitants. As the whole voyage is m ute on British steamers, and throush British territory, it should also stimulate the interest of the people in iiHpcralism.'' With such r tribute from the Minister of Education it is little wonder that tlitf schoolmasters in all the loading towns havi made special efforts to enable their scholars to attend the matinee screenings, and have also given special geography lessons on the picture. To enable all school children to view this remarkable subject the Empire management has arranged a special matinee on Tuesday afternoon commencing at 3 p.m.
