The Farmers' Co-operative Society ol New Zealnad, Ltd., report:— At Opunake,yards on.Monday, ISth inst., there was a full yarding of cattle, "which., sold under keen , competition at prices in favor of the vendors. Almost a total.clearance was made. The advertised two and three-year-old steers sold at £3 13s, fat cows £lO 10s to £ll 10s. fresh-conditioned cow«.£S ISs to £9 15s, forward cows £7J'as to £8 l'Os, store cows £G lias to £7 Ms, small store cows £5 10s to £0 10s, empty heifers £4 10s to £O, yearling steers £4 4s to £5 19s. yearling heifers £2 os, to £4, bulls £5 to £lO. In the dairy pens there was a pood entry of in-calf' heifers, and for "those close to profit sold well; •backward heifers showed no improvement in prices; best heifers sold at from £lO to £l2 10s, others £0 to £0 10s. Manaia.—Fat cows £lO to £ll 10s, fresh-conditioned cows £8 los to £9 17; Gd, forward cows £7 12s. to £8 10s, light store cows £0 10s to £7 10s, yearling steers to £4 15s, yearling bulls £4 as "to £5 10s, best springing heifers £l2 10s to £l7 as, others £7 10s to £lO 10s, calved heifers £0 10s to £l2 10s, cows £S to £l3 l»s, hoggets 255, weaner pigs 10s to 15s, store pigs ISs to 30s, sows and litters £4 to £4 10s. Inglewood.—Prices were fully up to late "sales, and with few exceptions the whole yarding was sold under the hammer. We quote: Fresh-conditioned cow; £8 2s to £9, forward £7 12s to £B, store cows £0 10s to £7 as, store cows (small) £5 5s to £0 ss, empty heifers £4 to £5, yearling steers £4 as to £5, yearling' heifers £2 10s to £3 17s fid, "vearling bulls £4 10s to £5 ss, bulls £0 10s to £lO 10s. dairy cows (close to profit) £S 10s to £l3 10s, best heifers (close to profit) £lO to £l3, others £5 10= to £9; ewes with lambs sold at from 38s to £1 19s 10d, other ewes 30s, wethers 37s 7d.
