SHEARERS' WAGES By Telegraph.—Press Association, Hastings, Sept. 20. Shearing operations wera to have started to-day at Te Mata station. The men stated that the manager offered 22b 6d per hundred, and that after discussion. they refused to accept less than 255. TJie manager states that he offered .■CI and 2s Cd war bonus, and that if award were fixed at 25s lr/er they would be oaid that amount for sheep shorn. The offer was refused, and the sheep turned out into the paddocks
