Also ran: Last Hope", Arzile, Bell Bird, Texas, Stream of Gold, War Scot. Won comfortably bv two and a half lengths. Time, 1.3 2-5. ' OTAKI HACK.—Glorify 1, Miss Duval 2, Kukri 3. Also started: Maim, Bayswater, Sir Wallace, Trickery, Miss vSation. Won comfortably by a good length. Time, 1.28.

STEEPLECHASE.—Merry Jack 1, Marton 2, Ruatangata 3. Also ran: Kirkby, Tauira, Riwitea, Kew Silver Monarch, Crystal Star, The Hound, Cron Park, Happy Jack. Marton led nearly the whole distance, but in the straight was challenged by Merry Jack, wlio won by three lengths, two lengths separating second and third. Time, 4.43. PRESIDENT'S HANDlCAP—Taringanmtu 1, Hylatus 2, Chakwana 3. Also ran: fiold Soult, Lady Louisa, Orleans, Master Achilles, Sir Solo, Eed Ribbon, Want, and Merrie Gain. A grand finish, ■won -By a head, the second and third horses and Gold Soult being in a bunch. Time, 1.412-5. ELECTRIC HANDICAP.—Merry An-, drew 1, Merry Poto 2, Speetital 3. Also ran: Flying Spur, Pearl Marie, Need, Mahoztow, Baimsdale, (Polynesian, Tame Duck, Saxitile. Arziale, Ally. The placed horses led throughout and finished in a bunch, heads separating them.
