THE EGMOXT PICTURES. This week's programme to be submitted at Rahotu, Warea, and Opunakc, on advertised dates, will be found a most popular one. "The Law of the Wilds" depicts a romantic affair between two prospectors, who arc both in love 'with the wife of an unhappy trapper. Interesting developments end in the trapper (whose character is decidedly bad) being shot by the sheriff of the district. ''Cupid in a 'Hospital" is a drama in which un anarchist attempts to bomb a, rival in a love a/l'air. He is horrified to find the lady of whom he is enamored sitting on the sofa with his rival, ■while under the sofa is the deadly explosive. The anarchist tries to drag the lady away from her dangerous position, and in the confusion lie himself is thrown on the bed with his rival and both are blown into space. "The Australian Gazette" is of unusual interest, showing, amongst other subjects, the V.R.C. races and a coursing match in which King Comedy 'wins the Waterloo Cup. "The Girl in the Case" introduces a liraee of bank officials who have been gambling with bank money. A big robbery is planned, but is frustrated by the girl in the case. A drama of military action is "The Girl of the Open Road.'' A gipsy camp comes into the play, and an attractive girl plays a prominent part. She lias little difficulty in attracting the notice of a young officer witli whom a society belle is infatuated. Complications and exciting incidents follow.
