At the meeting of the committee of the New Zealand Bowling Association the Dnnedin centre was given permission to hold a tournament at Easter. Applications from South Auckland and Napier were referred to the respective centres. It was decided to obtain reports from centres where there were bowl testers as to whether they were satisfactory. A discussion took place on the two-feet-on-the-mat rule, and it was resolved to request th-e. centres to see 'that the rule was observed, but :iot to introduce » penalty at .present.
